目前不銹鋼管有兩種制造管子的方式：無縫鋼管（seamless）、焊接或是電阻焊接（electric resistance welding，ERW）。
無縫鋼管(guan)是(shi)(shi)用擠型或是(shi)(shi)輥式(shi)穿孔方式(shi)+冷(leng)軋或冷(leng)拔相結合制(zhi)造(zao)。
焊(han)接或電阻焊(han)接管(guan)（Electric resistance welding）是將金屬片折彎成管(guan)狀后，在邊緣部分焊(han)接接合，因此在管(guan)的側(ce)面會有焊(han)接縫。
